Our mission

Democratize digital payments
in West Africa.

SaalaPay aggregates Mobile Money operators and card schemes behind a single API. So merchants in the region can collect without integrating ten providers, each with its own documentation, webhooks and settlement delays.

Our approach

Four principles,
held every day.

We don't promise the moon. We promise a working API, webhooks that arrive, and an auditable journal down to the cent.

Direct integration

A documented REST API, a sandbox you can use immediately, signed webhooks. No mandatory SDK.

Security by default

HMAC-SHA256 authentication, signed and idempotent webhooks, secrets encrypted at rest with libsodium, native rate limiting.

Regional coverage

Mobile Money (Orange, MTN), international cards and bank transfers in GNF / XOF — without per-operator contracts to sign.

Auditable ledger

Every wallet movement writes an immutable line, with before/after snapshots. Reliable reconciliation and reporting.

The team

Three cofounders,
one product.

A small team based in Conakry, with combined experience in cybersecurity, software architecture and finance.

What guides us

Three commitments,
held daily.

Transparency

Technical rigor

DDD architecture, automated tests on critical invariants (idempotency, ledger integrity), documented security audits.

Local roots

Team and infrastructure on the ground, French-speaking support, native handling of GNF, XOF and Mobile Money specifics.
